The Coagulation Department at TOCS Laboratory is an integral part of our Haematology Department, working together to provide comprehensive and high-quality care to our patients. Our team of skilled professionals is dedicated to the diagnosis and management of haematological conditions, including bleeding disorders and the body’s ability to clot.
We offer a range of coagulation studies to assess the coagulation status, including prothrombin time (PT), activated partial thromboplastin time (aPTT), and thrombin time (TT). These tests are used to diagnose and manage bleeding disorders such as haemophilia and von Willebrand disease, as well as to monitor the effectiveness of blood-thinning medications.
In addition to these standard coagulation tests, we also offer specialized testing for a variety of conditions. For example, we can perform fibrinogen assays to diagnose and monitor fibrinogen disorders, as well as lupus anticoagulant testing to identify autoimmune conditions that may increase the risk of abnormal blood clotting.
At TOCS Laboratory, we understand the importance of accurate and reliable results in the field of coagulation. That’s why we are dedicated to using the most advanced technologies and techniques to ensure that our results are accurate and reliable. We also have stringent quality control measures in place to ensure the integrity of our results.
Overall, the Coagulation Department at TOCS Laboratory is committed to providing the highest quality care to our patients. We work closely with our Haematology Department and other healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care and treatment. Whether you are seeking testing for bleeding disorders, blood-thinning medications, or something else, we have the expertise and experience to help you.
